Attention new moms! Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, onions, garlic, spice and the like are no longer on the taboo list of foods not to eat while breastfeeding. Turns out, according to Melissa Kotlen Nagin, it’s an old wives’ tale that these wonderful vegetables give a newborn baby gas via his/her nursing mother. So, moms, eat up!
